Growing Up: Tweens & Teens
When our little ones are babies and toddlers, we can’t get enough pictures of them! We capture every smile, every milestone, and every little moment.
Then they grow.
Life gets busy. Between school, activities, friends, and everything in between, we still take plenty of pictures on our phones (usually when they are reluctantly allowing us to!), but we often stop capturing true portraits of who they are during these years.
The tween and teen years are such a unique stage of life. They are gaining independence, discovering who they are, and becoming more confident in themselves, while still holding onto pieces of the childhood we aren’t quite ready to let go of.
Before we know it… POOF. They are all grown up.
A professional portrait session is so different from another phone picture. It gives your child the opportunity to express themselves, feel confident, and see themselves in a new way.
I work with each tween and teen to create images that feel authentic to them. Whether they bring a favorite hobby, sport, instrument, activity, or simply their own personality, we’ll create portraits that capture what makes them uniquely them.
My goal is not to change who they are, but to highlight the qualities that make them special. Through my lens, I want them to see themselves with confidence and create memories you’ll treasure for years to come.
8th Graders
Eighth grade is a big milestone that is often overlooked. Not because it isn’t important, but because life gets busy and there is always so much happening.
This is the year where so much begins to change. High school is right around the corner, friendships grow, confidence builds, and your child starts becoming more independent. This season deserves to be remembered.
My goal is to create a relaxed, fun photo experience that captures your child’s personality and confidence during this exciting moment. Whether they bring a favorite hobby, activity, sport, instrument, or simply their own unique personality, we’ll create images that show who they are right now.
From planning outfits and locations to selecting your favorite images and products, I’ll guide you every step of the way so the process feels easy and enjoyable.
Together, we’ll create meaningful images you’ll treasure long after this middle school chapter comes to an end.
